TagThe Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe

“The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” by C.S. Lewis tells the story of four siblings—Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy—who are evacuated to the English countryside during World War II. While exploring the Professor’s house where they are staying, Lucy enters a wardrobe and discovers the magical land of Narnia, where it is always winter and never Christmas under the rule of the White Witch. As the siblings explore Narnia, they learn of a prophecy that foretells the arrival of two sons of Adam and two daughters of Eve who will defeat the White Witch with the help of the lion Aslan. The children join forces with Aslan and the creatures of Narnia in a battle against the White Witch, culminating in a sacrifice and a resurrection that leads to the liberation of Narnia and the return of spring.
