"Molloy" by Samuel Beckett is a novel divided into two parts. The first tells the story of Molloy, an old man who sets out on a journey to find his mother. Along the way, he encounters various characters and experiences physical and mental deterioration. The second part follows Moran, a private detective who is hired to find Molloy. However, Moran becomes obsessed with Molloy and ultimately loses his own sense of identity.
