Brewster's Millions by George Barr McCutcheon is a humorous novel about a young man named Montgomery Brewster who inherits a vast sum of money from his grandfather. However, in order to inherit his full fortune of $7 million, Brewster must spend $1 million in a year without any assets to show for it. Throughout the novel, Brewster goes on a wild spending spree, trying to find ways to spend the money without violating the terms of the will. Along the way, he faces many challenges, including a love interest and a rival who tries to sabotage his efforts. In the end, Brewster succeeds in spending the million dollars and is rewarded with his full inheritance.
